COPPA Pledge
Child privacy matters. These principles describe the intended safeguards, not a compliance certification.
Draft for review. This summary is not a certification of legal compliance. The operator’s contact details and final policy terms must be confirmed before launch.
Parent-managed families
Parents or caregivers manage family accounts, name their children and choose companions. Child records are separated within the family. A parent PIN protects insights and child setup.
Limit personal details
Use a first name or nickname for each child. Avoid identifying details in check-in notes or the feelings finder. Children do not need to share their home address or school to use the calming activities.
Before use with children under 13
The operator must complete a legal review of parental notice, verifiable parental consent, parent access and deletion, retention and third-party processing. A parent account or PIN alone does not establish COPPA compliance; a verified parental-consent process is not currently implemented.
